Espero
Espero has been designed to share information about my internship experiences with prospective interns. It covers my internship with the United Nations as I work in the Office of the Chief Prosecutor in the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia from November-Feb 06/07. It will then cover my internship with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs as I sit with the Australian Permanent Mission to the United Nations on the UN Human Rights Council in March/April 2007.

This blog is run at the request of the Monash University Castan Centre to whom I am grateful of these opportunities. Currently I am a full time student of an Arts/Law degree at Monash University, Australia. I am pursuing a career in the human rights field. Having worked in human rights in Uganda, researched for the Australian Red Cross Humanitarian Law department as well as spending voluntary and travel stints abroad in Guatemala, Cuba, Peru, Ecuador, Tanzania, Kenya, Samoa, Tonga and Mauritius, I will now be going away for two internships associated to the United Nations.

A little surprise! It's David, the gentleman you met in Cambodia last december at the pavillon hotel.I was reading some of my journal and you came up and I thought, "how is she doing and what's she up?" and thought I'd take a break from writing and see if I could find you. how r u? I was just reading about the night we went to the tamarind bar and had dinner on the roof. hope you are well and I'd love to hear from you. best wishes
